 Day 1

Arrival   |   Accommodation

Upon arrival at Julius Nyerere International Airport (DAR), you will be warmly welcomed by one of your experienced driver guides, ready to greet and escort you to Dar es Salaam and your chosen hotel. He will introduce you to this wonderful city and country where you will attend a pre-departure briefing with your guide to go over last minute details of your upcoming safari.

 Day 2

Dar es salaam   |   Selous Game Reserve

A typical day one on safari starts with an early wake up call for the early morning breakfast. Follow by transfer to the Airport, you will be flying to Southern Tanzania and the less well known but wild Selous Game Reserve. The Selous is one of the last remaining pristine wilderness areas in the world. Off the traditional Tanzanian Safari circuit, no permanent human habitation and no permanent structures are permitted here.

 Day 3

Selous Game Reserve   |   Selous Game Viewing

A typical day two on safari starts with an early wake up call for the morning breakfast. Private game drive is set for a day with the professional driver guide. It is an enchanting game viewing into the untamed African bush to the vast, unfenced Selous Game Reserve. Enjoy the romance of your private stay with en-suite bathrooms and open-air showers, making nature that much closer.

 Day 4

Selous Game Reserve   |   Selous Game Viewing

Guests can go on game drives and walk safaris. Due to the scarce water sources in the Selous animal activities tend to happen later in the day as the game makes its way to the water sources in the area. Enjoy some amazing sightings of elephants, lion, leopard and buffalo as well as vast numbers of crocodiles and hippos and wild dogs.

 Day 5

Selous Game Reserve   |   Arusha/Moshi

After breakfast, enjoy your scheduled flight back to Arusha via Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival you will meet by your driver and transferred to your next accommodation for dinner and overnight.

 Day 6

Arusha/ Moshi   |   Ngorongoro Conservation

After breakfast, the driver will transfer you to Arusha airport for your scheduled and short flight to the Manyara Airstrip and then a transfer to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.For camping, basic and classic you will have pick up from airport and drive to Ngorongoro. Enjoy your private stay with en-suite bathrooms and open-air showers, making nature that much closer.

 Day 7

Ngorongoro Crater   |   Full Day Game view

At sunrise, you descend 600 meters into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino. Animals that you may find in the crater include wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo and elephant. Another big draw card to this picturesque reserve is the dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. Tour the Lerai Forest with its yellow-barked acacias, searching for giant-tusked elephant, rare black rhino and black- mined lion. Bird lovers can view flamingo and other species, which share the shallow waters with a big game. You may also see Maasai herdsmen and their cattle at the crater is in their territory, and the Maasai continue to coexist with wildlife as they have for centuries. Stop for a picnic lunch near the hippo pool and watch resident hippos bobbing in the river. Ascend the crater in the early afternoon and retire to the comfort of your stay.

 Day 8

Ngorongoro Crater   |   Serengeti National Park

The wildlife encounters continue as you transfer today from Ngorongoro Conservation area into the Serengeti National Park. Your transport into the park is by Safari vehicle, and you will enjoy the magnificent views over the endless plains from the jeep as you take in your surroundings for the next 4 nights.

Enjoy visit a traditional Maasai village here you will be greeted by the Chief who will guide you around the nearby Boma and explain the culture of the Maasai people. After saying goodbye to the Maasai people, you will head towards the Serengeti National Park. Enjoy lunch en-route as you head towards the entry gate for the world famous Serengeti National Park. Tanzania’s oldest and most popular National Park, also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th world wide wonder, the Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Yet even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa

 Day 9

Serengeti National Park   |   Serengeti Game Drive

After breakfast in the morning you will start game drive in the eastern, southern or north part of the park. The aim is to get you within a comfortable driving distance of the massive herds. This does depend on the annual rains. Guides will always try to get you as close as possible, but should the herds not appear when expected, there is plenty of resident game.

On this day, Experience the wildlife of Serengeti National Park in a new, unique way. Wake up early to catch the sunrise, as you silently fly over the plain of Serengeti National Park. Admire the heads of wildebeest, buffaloes, and elephant and enjoy the Serenetranquility of the bush Africa.

You will take off early at down around 5:00 for a flight that lasts for approximately 1 hour. Rise as the sunrise and float in whatever direction the winds of the morning takes you. Fly higher than the trees and hills and enjoy the best Tanzania, with many great photo opportunity of the scenery and wildlife below.

After a smooth landing you can celebrate this amazing adventure with a Bush Breakfast “Out of African Style” and followed by glass of champagne – your driver will pick you up for your full-day game drive.

 Day 10

Serengeti National Park   |   Serengeti Game Drive

The romance of a private safari is something that really needs to be experienced to understand the full impact. At sunrise, you may encounter animals grazing in the beautiful light of sunrise and predators may still be busy hunting before retiring to rest for the day. Sunrise on the Serengeti is not to be missed and extraordinary photographic opportunities will abound at this magical time of day. You have the option to return to your accommodation for a hot lunch or to opt for a packed lunch which can be enjoyed at one of the various picnic sites found in the Serengeti. After lunch, you will continue on a game drive. Around the time of dusk be on the lookout for lion. Cheetah can also be spotted on the plains in the early morning and late afternoon when temperatures are not too high. They rely on daylight and speed to catch their prey. Hippo pods can be seen in the bigger pools and rivers while crocodiles can be seen sunning themselves on the riverbanks.

 Day 11

Serengeti National Park   |   Kilimanjaro

Sadly the African romance has to come to an end. If you book luxury or VIP you will be transferred by small aircraft to Arusha and then a road transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home. If you book our camping, basic or classic category, you will have road transfer to Arusha and then to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home. Should you be flying from Dar es Salaam then a flight from Arusha to Dar es Salaam will get you there for your connection.
