Look for hippos and crocodiles as you forge through the rivers, vervet and colobus monkeys in the tree canopy along the riverbanks. The open plains are dotted with acacias and mighty baobabs, which provide much needed reprieve to the elephants, from the harsh African sun.
The camp sits on top of a large kopje, affording panoramic views across the park. In the afternoon take a game drive towards the forest area and search for caracal and kudus, which can often be found in this area?
Day 2 – 3: Exploring and Experiencing Kenya

Watch as the sun rises and the savanna takes on a rosy hue, the nocturnal game looks for shelter and the plains game celebrate another night of survival.
Meander through the various habitats, along the many rivers, forests and open plains. Observe gerenuk reaching up on their hind legs, to feed on the tasty lower branches of acacias.
Their long necks stretching upwards to get to the best morsels. Towering reticulated giraffes with their black tongues impervious to the thorns as they feed on the upper canopy. Grevy’s zebra stallions standing proudly all alone, in the forlorn hope of enticing some passing mares to stop awhile with him and be impressed by his vast territory.
Day 4: Masai Mara National Reserve
Relish a cooked breakfast in camp before heading out to the airstrip to board a scheduled flight to the Masai Mara. The scenic flight is a great opportunity to take in the scope of the landscape of Kenya. Delight in some of the best game viewing in Africa en route to the camp, look for Topi as they stand proudly on top of an anthill. Search for cheetahs lying down in the golden grassy plains, on the hunt for any passing game.
Settle into your tent, a cool oasis overlooking the river. Watch from the comfort of your veranda as numerous mammals come down to drink. In the late afternoon, take a game drive with your guide and explore the Masai Mara. Heading back to camp as the sun begins to fall in time for some pre-dinner drinks and canapés around the fire.
Day 5 – 6: Big Cats and Small Creatures
The Masai Mara is a patchy landscape of open savannahs dotted with umbrella Acacia trees. Traverse the area in a safari vehicle driven by knowledgeable guides who know the area intimately.
